W dniu 28 maja br. odbyła się XXVI sesja Rady Powiatu Kolskiego. W porządku obrad było 30 punktów. Radni wysłuchali informacji i sprawozdań: dyr. Szpitala Iwony Wiśniewskiej, dyr. PGW Wody Polskie Zarząd Zlewni w Kole Jana Bartczaka na temat melioracji w Powiecie Kolskim oraz dyr. Marioli Sobczak z PUP w Kole. Radni uchwalili dotację celową 107 500 zł dla jednostek OSP w całym Powiecie Kolskim, które posiadają aktualny wpis w KRS.
Podczas sesji radni wysłuchali informacji dyrektora PGW Wody Polskie Zarząd Zlewni w Kole Jana Bartczaka na temat melioracji w powiecie kolskim, sprawozdania z działalności Samodzielnego Publicznego Zakładu Opieki Zdrowotnej w Kole za 2019 r., które przedstawiła dyrektor Iwona Wiśniewska oraz sprawozdania z działalności Powiatowego Urzędu Pracy za 2019 r., które przedstawiła dyrektor Mariola Sobczak.
Rada Powiatu Kolskiego jednogłośnie podjęła 17 uchwał. Większość uchwał dotyczyła udzielenia przez Powiat Kolski pomocy finansowej gminom: Babiak, Chodów, Dąbie, Grzegorzew, Kłodawa, Gminie Koło, Gminie Miejskiej Koło, Kościelec, Olszówka, Osiek Mały i Przedecz na realizację przedsięwzięcia pn. „Zapewnienie gotowości bojowej jednostek Ochotniczych Straży Pożarnych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej z terenu powiatu kolskiego”. Zgodnie z przyjętym założeniem dotacja celowa w łącznej wysokości 107 500,00 zł miałaby zostać przeznaczona dla jednostek OSP, które posiadają aktualny wpis w Krajowym Rejestrze Sądowym. Jednostki znajdujące się w Krajowym Systemie Ratowniczo-Gaśniczym (KSRG) otrzymają pomoc finansową w kwocie 2 000 zł, jednostki spoza KSRG, będące Jednostkami Operacyjno-Technicznymi (JOT) posiadającymi zdolność operacyjną otrzymają po 1 500 zł, natomiast pozostałe jednostki po 1 000 zł. Kwota dotacji może zostać wykorzystana tylko i wyłącznie na wydatki związane z gotowością jednostek do podejmowania działań operacyjnych i bojowych. Zarząd nie wniósł uwag do przedstawionych projektów uchwał.
