Piękny prezent wigilijny i świąteczny mieszkańcom Ruszkowa Pierwszego (gm. Kościelec) sprawiły władze Powiatu Kolskiego i Gminy Kościelec. W Wigilię o 8:00 rano odbył się odbiór 500 m nowego chodnika z kostki na ul. Kolskiej w tej miejscowości. To droga powiatowa, a inwestycja była współfinansowana z rządowego FDS, Powiatu i Gminy. W odbiorze wzięli udział: dyr. Powiatowego Zarządu Dróg Grzegorz Kujawa, Wicestarosta Kolski Sylwester Chęciński, Wiceprzewodniczący Rady Powiatu Mariusz Kozajda, Z-ca Wójta Gminy Kościelec Patrycja Zielińska, Wiceprzewodniczący Rady Gminy Kościelec Józef Pacholski, kierownik nadzoru i właściciel firmy wykonującej prace MK STELLA Konrad Marek. Pomimo drobnych poprawek, które musiały być zrobione w związku z brakiem pogody, mieszkańcy już chętnie korzystali z nowego chodnika.
